Anini Beach - August 13, 2019

We had planned to go to Haena Beach but the surf advisories called for dangerous rip currents so we decided to try Anini Beach instead.  It was gorgeous.  So clear and water was very shallow and the waves were basically non existent.

Snorkeling was not really successful.  Saw fish and an eel but no turtles :( The sea cucumbers were kind of gross looking. 

One of the nicest things about Hawaiian beaches is the way the trees come right to the waters edge so you have beautiful shade if you want. 

But the other best part about this beach was the dead tree in the water for jumping.  What a gorgeous day and some of my favorite photos of the trip

We left to go get some lunch at our local grocery store (Sushi) and get ready to go to Hanalei.
