Waimea Canyon - August 12, 2019
"The Grand Canyon of the West" with it's waterfalls, green canyons and soaring birds. This trip, the canyon was much more green and lush.
These soaring birds are so graceful. They just float. In my photo they are those tiny white dots because I don't have a good telephoto lens and I am not a bird photographer. Below is my photo of the canyon and then a photo I got off the internet of the beautiful Koa'e Kea White-Tailed Tropicbird

And of course I have to add my family photos.
Unfortunately we didn't go to the top of Waimea before the fog rolled in. This was the view this trip
This was the view 2 years ago
And then we made our way back down to Port Allen
Back down for some delicious beer and food at the Kauai Island Brewing Company
